My First Login 📲

To participate in a challenge on Alvarum Go, I must first register online with an event or challenge organizer who uses the platform.

Here are the steps I should follow for my first login:

  1. Download the Alvarum Go app on Android or iPhone

  2. I log in to my account on Alvarum Go using:
    -  The phone number provided during registration (recommended)
    -  My last name and my registration number

  3. Join my team if prompted. This step is only offered if teams have been created within your organization.

  4. I enable web and mobile notifications to stay informed about activities during the challenge. These notifications can be disabled at any time from the "My Account" tab (click the top-right corner of the app to access it).

  5. I enable the pedometer for automatic tracking of my steps (subject to device compatibility).

  6. I enable the transmission of personal data. By doing so, I agree that for the event, my name and daily step count may be used to establish rankings and may be viewed by third parties related to the event.

1. Logging in to Alvarum Go

1.a. Using the mobile phone number provided during registration

What phone number did I provide?
The phone number provided during registration is mentioned in the email inviting you to log into the Alvarum Go app.

  1. Enter this phone number and click the "send code" button. You will receive an SMS with a code.
  2. Enter this code in the interface, and you will be logged in.

1.b. Using an alternative method

If you used an incorrect mobile phone number or a landline number:

  1. Click on "or log in with registration number" on the first login screen.
  2. Enter your last name
  3. Enter your registration number (which can be found in the email received at the event launch, titled: "Launch of the 2024 Heroes Race Step Challenge 🚀")



2. Join a Team 👥

If teams have been created within your organization, you will be asked during the first login to the app which team you want to join.

  1. You can view the members of your team.
  2. You can change teams after your first login.



3. Enable Notifications 🔔

After entering the details related to your account, you will be asked to accept notifications. We highly recommend enabling them.
These notifications will keep you updated in real time about activities during the challenge/event.




4. Enable the Pedometer 👟

To enable automatic step tracking, you must allow the app to connect to your phone's pedometer, provided it is compatible.

Note: A separate window may appear depending on your phone, asking if you want to allow the app to run in the background. For the pedometer to function properly, you must accept this.


5. Enable the Transmission of Personal Data 🔓

As part of the event you are participating in, you agree that your name and daily step count may be used to establish rankings and viewed by third parties related to the event.
